Dan Rowan is a pianist of great style, taste, and sophistication. After being the house pianist at the Hyatt on Capitol Square for over fifteen years, he now freelances in and around the Columbus area.

Whether your tastes follow the standards of the great American songbook made famous by artists like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Ella Fitzgerald or lean toward thoughtful arrangements of more recent music by Burt Bacharach, Elton John, and Billy Joel, Rowan delights all ages with his understated piano stylings and smooth vocals.

Dan Rowan was born in Dayton, Ohio, raised in Cambridge, Ohio, attended high school in Gallipolis, Ohio, and received a degree in Jazz Performance from Capital University in Columbus. He has performed throughout the eastern United States and in Asia for Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, and Marriott resorts and hotels.

Dan has three solo recordings of original and standard material. Available as a soloist, with his trio, or larger combo, Dan delivers jazz and popular music of exceptional quality. From country club parties to corporate banquets to social events of all types, Dan Rowan entertains like few can, providing great music for listening or dancing.

Dan is married to Kathleen Lach and has two sons, Patrick and Eric. He resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
